Axe-Throwing Budapest and Amazing Metal Art Gallery

Who doesn’t like launching sharp objects without repercussions? Ok, so this place doesn’t just cater for the crazies amongst us, it’s actually a lot of fun throwing axes around like you’re Johanna Mason, and there’s surprisingly some skill involved in getting it right.

Axe Throwing

Axe-throwing Budapest makes practicing to be a badass an exciting shared experience and something you should definitely try with your traveling companions. Not only does it make you look super cool, but the activity will bring out your most competitive side and have you hurling weaponry until you master the perfect ‘bullseye’ shot.

If you’re seeking an experience where you can show off your natural ability to be awesome at everything, then using the points-based competition option is the way to go. Afterwards, you can even celebrate your triumph with an ice-cold beer in the street-level bar above and brag about your axe-wielding skills.

Naturally, it’s an experience worth trying no matter who you are, from tiny humans to god-like beings, your age and abilities don’t matter. Here, you can experience an hour of letting loose and high fiving over your most impressive throws.

If that’s not enough though, you can always kick things up a notch and test your skills in the dark. Well, almost. Just when you think it can’t get any more exhilarating, there’s a room dedicated to tossing hatchets under black light, and it looks epic!

Metal Art Gallery

Though we 100% recommend this activity during your stay in Budapest, we strongly suggest you don’t leave without checking out their unusual art installation, tucked away in the basement but by no means out of sight. You can’t miss it once you reach the reception area.

Metal art gallery rhino

This is no ordinary display of art, and definitely something different and unique that will see you interacting with familiar characters, painstakingly and impressively created solely from nuts, bolts, engine parts, bike chains, and any other scraps of metal you would expect to find from dismantled machinery. Given, at some point during your travels, you’ve likely stumbled upon tiny figurines made in a similar way but guaranteed you’ve never ridden a rhino, had a swing on a transformer or hopped on the back of a life-sized velociraptor before.

Metal art gallery, Bumblebee

This underground display of skilful artwork is a playground for young ones, big kids at heart and selfie lovers, not to be missed during your visit to the city. It’s a hidden gem that’s sure to turn heads and get movie fans grinning from ear to ear.

We won’t give away all the surprises of this fascinating exhibit, but if you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to walk through the mouth of Aladdin’s Cave of Wonders, then head on over to Amazing Metal Art Gallery and check out the best interactive display of artistic talent this side of Budapest.
